About Aya Investment Holdings

A development finance consultancy and investment holding company, mobilising and aligning capital for long-term socio-economic impact across Africa.

Our name

Aya is the Adinkra symbol of the wild fern, a plant that flourishes in rocky terrain where fragile species fail. It stands for endurance, defiance and quiet self-reliance.

Adinkra symbols come from the Akan and Ashanti peoples of Ghana and the Gyaman traditions of Côte d’Ivoire, where they carry principles refined over centuries.

We bring that resolve to development finance, finding lasting value in complex environments.
